Registered Holstein Bull. Sired by Advent. Has been fertility tested & is good to go. See Dam's picture. She is scored
Ex 90 with an Excellent Mammary System. His dam can be seen at the farm milking on her 5th lactation. For those of you
who might not know this, a red & white bull will not have red calves when used on black & white Holsteins unless you
either have a red & white Holstein cow or you have a black & white cow that is carrying the red color factor. In that
case, that calf would have a 50% chance of being a red & white. This is unlikely, but still possible, if you've
always had Black & White Holsteins.
We got into red through a black & white cow that we purchased that was evidently a carrier of the red factor. The
bull we AI'd her to, was a black & white-red carrier bull. There then was a 25% chance of a red calf. That
wasn't our intent since, as far as we knew at the time there were no carriers in our black herd, but that purchased cow produced
a surprise. We liked that calf a lot & she is the foundation of the reds here. If you go to the website,
