ShowGirl Dairy is a tiny Dairy,  the best remains of River Valley Farm Holsteins. The main herd was sold in 1994 and the show cows retained in partnerships that have since been dissolved. The Dairy is Ann's love and a labor of love it is. Ann loves to show and hence the name ShowGirl. All the breeding strives to create yet another "ShowGirl!" We like them to really milk as well. The Dairy sells breeding bulls and is probably the State's main source for the Red and White bulls available to breeders needing good red and whites. We have wonderful type black and white bulls as well. Among the "ShowGirls" is a beautiful little Jersey named Patty. She came to ShowGirl Dairy in June of 2000 from the Nabholz "Field of Dreams Sale" She has been unbeaten in the State, in the Jersey Classes, since coming here and scored 91 points the last time we scored her at 5 years of age. She is 11 now and may show again. She has taken on the Holsteins at shows and come away Supreme Champion. She was Supreme Champion in 2001 at the Western Dist. Black and White Show, which is the largest Holstein Show in the state, and is held in conjunction with the Morton County Fair. She claimed the Supreme Champion Title again at that same show in 2006 at 10 years of age. Ann calls her Pretty Patty. ---------"SADLY WE LOST PATTY, MAY 15, 2007. SHE WAS PURCHASED AS A TWO YEAR OLD BY 'GILBAR JERSEYS', WISCONSIN, AND OFFERED IN THE FIRST ANNUAL 'FIELD OF DREAMS SALE' IN IOWA. PRIOR TO COMING TO SHOWGIRL, SHE WAS SHOWN ONLY IN THE WISCONSIN TYPE AND PRODUCTION SHOW IN A FOUR YEAR OLD CLASS OF 17, PLACING FIRST. WE SHOWED HER 4 OUT OF THE 6 YEARS SHE WAS HERE. SHE REMAINS THE UNBEATEN CHAMPION JERSEY COW IN NORTH DAKOTA FROM JUNE 2000 TO AUGUST 2006. SHE WAS SHOWN AT 17 OPEN DAIRY SHOWS IN THAT TIME. SHE EARNED SUPREME COW HONORS IN AT LEAST ONE & SOMETIMES ALL SHOWS IN EACH OF THE YEARS SHOWN. SHE HAD A TOTAL OF 9 SUPREME COW TITLES. SHE WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST COWS WE HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. SHE WILL BE MISSED." --- MARCH 17, 1996 TO MAY 15, 2007----------- Another very special cow is Hoerners Rembran Cinder-Red VG 88 She is our first Red & White Holstein and is now 15 years old. Her last show was in 2005 making a career of 24 shows. She placed first in class in all but 3 of her 24 career shows and was Champion or Supreme 19 times. We specialize in Red and White Holsteins.and Black and White Paints. 

The Paint Horses are Richard's love. There's nothing more precious then a new colt in the spring. There are young two year olds and three year olds available to be developed into fine show horses and working horses, performance horses or breeding stock.

Our son, Jeff, is the crop man and helps where ever else another hand is needed  We raise wheat and flax, plus alfalfa & grass hays.
